Bio

Wu Ai received the B.S. degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Hubei University for Nationalities, Enshi, Hubei, China, in June 2005, the M.S. degree in Computational Mathematics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, Hubei, China, in June 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from Xidian University, Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, in June 2017. He was a Visiting Scholar at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, from September 2018 to September 2019. He was also a Visiting Scholar at Peking University, Beijing, China, from September 2021 to June 2022.

He is currently a Professor at School of Mathematics and Statistics, Guilin University of Technology, Guilin, China. His research interests include distributed optimization and machine learning in distributed architectures.
